1980 - present Architectural Design Technician - as owner/partner of several companies including Miller Architectural Tech Services (Colorado and Meyersdale, PA), Miller Howden Consultants (Vancouver), Pacific GRFX Services (Vancouver) and Infosys Consultants Ltd. (Vancouver).

2006 – 2009 Preplanner - for Evergreen Fire/Rescue. This part-time position involved developing a Pre Plans system which includes maps, aerial photos, drawings and plans for sites, buildings and interiors (for commercial buildings) and an online searchable database used by responding personnel during an emergency. (Evergreen, CO)

1975 – 1979 Architectural Design Technician, for owners of various restaurant franchises including A&W Foods Canada and Controlled Foods Corp. (Vancouver).

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Architectural Design Technician for
• Individual residential renovations and Colorado architects and contractors including De Kold Architecture, Whitehouse Construction and Shipley Design Associates. Began use of SketchUP for 3D modeling.
• Golf course condominium / club house developments near Cathedral City, CA.
• Hi-rise condominium interiors in Vancouver. Began use of AutoCAD 3D modeling.
• Restaurant franchisors; restaurant names include A&W, Leroy's, Le Papillon, The Keg, The Spaghetti Factory, The Corkscrew, Earls, The White Spot. Began use of AutoCAD.

Design-Build Contract Manager for Schroers Design Associates. Projects included the Sony Stores and Copps Shoes (Canada)

Draftsman and physical model builder. Employee of Schroers et al. Built the award-winning model which secured the BC Pavilion, Expo 70, Osaka contract.
